Protect Open Space. Let the Voters Decide.
Our Redwood City open space, including the Bay and Bay wildlife, has already suffered enough from development and pollution.
Now, with the Open Space Vote measure, we have a chance to protect and restore our open space before it’s too late.
- Let voters decide. Gives voters the final say on any proposal to develop city parks, open space or baylands
- Protect open space. Require that any development placed on open space lands be approved by two-thirds vote, to ensure that it is the best possible use for our community. Building or expanding public recreation facilities on open space won’t require a vote.
- Sponsored by Redwood City residents. Open Space Vote is sponsored by Friends of Redwood City and Save The Bay.
